The Bryson-Richardson lab investigates neuromuscular disease, spanning the spectrum from identification of new disease genes, to determination of the underlying biological mechanism, and subsequently evaluation of potential therapies. Our focus is on the identification of clinically translatable findings, aiding in the diagnosis and treatments of these conditions. We primarily use the zebrafish model to achieve these goals.
